Cependant, des strat\u00e9gies de motivation inad\u00e9quates conduisent souvent \u00e0 l&rsquo;inefficacit\u00e9, \u00e0 l&rsquo;insatisfaction au travail et \u00e0 la faible productivit\u00e9 du personnel de ces institutions. La pr\u00e9sente \u00e9tude examine la relation entre la motivation du personnel et la productivit\u00e9 dans les CTD, en se concentrant sur la commune de Buea. Plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment, cette \u00e9tude cherche \u00e0 identifier les facteurs cl\u00e9s qui affectent la motivation du personnel, \u00e0 \u00e9valuer l&rsquo;impact de la satisfaction au travail sur la productivit\u00e9 et \u00e0 proposer des strat\u00e9gies de motivation efficaces susceptibles d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer les performances du personnel. L&rsquo;\u00e9tude utilise une approche mixte, combinant des techniques de collecte de donn\u00e9es qualitatives et quantitatives. Un questionnaire structur\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 pour la collecte de donn\u00e9es aupr\u00e8s du personnel de la commune, des responsables et d&rsquo;autres parties prenantes cl\u00e9s. La recherche utilise une technique d&rsquo;\u00e9chantillonnage al\u00e9atoire pour garantir un \u00e9chantillon repr\u00e9sentatif de 145 r\u00e9pondants. L&rsquo;analyse des donn\u00e9es est r\u00e9alis\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide de m\u00e9thodes statistiques descriptives et inf\u00e9rentielles, et les r\u00e9sultats sont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s sous forme de tableaux, de figures et de graphiques pour plus de clart\u00e9. Les r\u00e9sultats r\u00e9v\u00e8lent que les incitations financi\u00e8res, la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de l&#8217;emploi, les possibilit\u00e9s de d\u00e9veloppement de carri\u00e8re et un environnement de travail favorable influencent de mani\u00e8re significative la motivation et la productivit\u00e9 du personnel. Cette recherche est importante pour les d\u00e9cideurs politiques, les administrateurs et les universitaires de l&rsquo;administration publique, car elle offre un aper\u00e7u du r\u00f4le de la motivation dans l&rsquo;optimisation de la performance des ressources humaines au sein de la gouvernance locale.
