The NASLA Research and Documentation Centre is an Applied Research Centre in the area of decentralisation and local development.

Research teams made up of NASLA management staff and researchers from all walks of life carry out research work identified by the Directorate General or ordered by public or decentralised authorities.

NASLA intends to set up a journal, in the near future, in which all researchers, be it independent or institutional, can publish their research findings.

In addition, NASLA is making available extensive documentation that can be consulted on site or borrowed conditionally to all researchers and the public.
