A special team from the National School of Local Administration, led by its Director General, is providing expertise to Councils in the South Region, notably those in the Ocean Division, to help boost performance in their various administrations.
Since Tuesday 2 April 2024, the Director General of NASLA has been leading an important performance dialogue mission between NASLA and the ten Councils of the Ocean Division. The main aim of this mission is to raise awareness and inform local councillors about the various services offered by NASLA in terms of training and consultancy to help them improve the performance of their respective administrations. The Director General and his entourage were received by the City Mayor, the Mayor of Kribi 2 and the Divisional Office of the UCCC, led by the Mayor of Lolodorf.
Besides expressing their satisfaction with the initiative undertaken by the Director General, the ten mayors of the Ocean Division identified their needs in terms of training, advisory support and political advocacy that the Director General of NASLA could provide for the benefit of the municipal movement in the Ocean Division.
In a nutshell, it was an open, frank and potentially very fruitful performance dialogue for all parties. This encounter was marked by a kind of exceptional hospitality that only the elected officials of the Ocean Division can offer.
